DO NO HARM Policy
It is the corporate culture and policy of Acres of Hope Ministry to DO NO HARM to all we encounter in our ministry at Sparrows Nest at The Abbey and at The Gathering Place.
This policy extends to all guests, clients, tenants, volunteers, neighbors and visitors we encounter, as we follow the plan God has for our ministry.
This policy was promulgated by the Acres of Hope Ministry Board of Directors, in 2014 when the ministry was formed, and is prominently posted at both facilities. Violations of this policy are not tolerated and are dealt with promptly.
All Board members and volunteers are specifically informed of this policy at the time they join the Board or become volunteers. All others (guests, clients, tenants and visitors) are informed of this policy in postings within the facilities and in issued group or client user agreements..
GUESTS - CLIENTS - TENANTS
All guests, clients and tenants will be treated with respect at all times. Their privacy rights will be honored at all times. The use of profanity is not tolerated as these are faith-based venues. The use of alcoholic beverages is not permitted at either facility. Any violations will be dealt with promptly.
VOLUNTEERS
All volunteers at Sparrows Nest at The Abbey and The Gathering Place will show respect to all guests, clients, tenants and neighbors at all times. The use of profanity is not tolerated as these are faith-based venues. The use of alcoholic beverages is not permitted at either facility. Any violations will be dealt with promptly.
NEIGHBORS
All guests, clients, tenants, visitors and volunteers will be respectful of our neighbors at all times. This policy extends to the neighbors property rights. At no time will anyone cross onto or damage a neighbor's property, paying particular attention to any 'no trespassing' signs that are prominently posted. Our neighbors have every right to their privacy and the right to not have anyone trespass onto or damage their land. Our neighbors are our friends, in true Christian tradition and practice. Violations of this policy will not be tolerated and will be dealt with promptly.
